Nusenda Credit Union

Congratulations, E.L.B.! You are the Nusenda Credit Union Student of the Week!
E.L.B. is 12 years old and currently in the 6th grade student at Peralta Elementary. He was chosen to represent Peralta Elementary as student of the week because he exemplifies our core values and SEL Pillars such as being kind to peers and staff, making wise choices, solving problems and acting responsible. He is always with a smile and can be counted on to be trustworthy and honest in every situation. He currently is a student mentor at Peralta Elementary and all his mentees absolutely love him!
E.L.B.’s favorite hobbies include playing club baseball for the “Yard Dawgs,” from Los Lunas, playing Fortnite with his friends and spending time with his family fishing. He would also like to play football but his mom prefers him to stick to baseball so he does not risk getting hurt. He does not mind this because he loves playing baseball with all his heart and understands why his mom does not want him to get hurt.
After finishing high school, E.L.B. plans on going to college and playing baseball and becoming a Major League Baseball Player.
E.L.B. loved Peralta Elementary so much before it was remodeled but now that we have a brand new school, he loves it even more and does not want to leave! He states that he will miss our brand new school but mostly he will really miss all the staff at Peralta Elementary!

Support Your Child and PE

PE is thrilled to introduce our very first School Store Fundraiser - a simple and impactful way to support our students and staff. Your child has been given a Book Buddy Lanyard containing important details and a unique participation code. Please ensure each student returns their own lanyard with their individual code, as codes cannot be shared between siblings.
The School Store Fundraiser is entirely online, so there is no need for in-person selling, handling cash or delivering products. Participating takes less than 12 minutes and gives students the chance to earn fun prizes. Here's how you can help:
- Use your child's form to send emails to invite family, friends, or co-workers to support your student and PE.
- Return the completed Book Buddy Lanyard with your child's Student Prize Code so they can receive their participation prize.
Don't forget to ask your child for their Book Buddy Lanyard and help make a difference for our school community. Your involvement directly benefits our students and teachers by providing essential resources. Thank you for your continued support!
